US Shipping Posted & Other Regions!

Greetings All!

A few weeks later and all the shipping is in the process of being posted.

US:

There were some updates to the US Shipping Cost from the fulfillment end. I did my best to go back and forth to get them lower. It turns out the numbers they gave before were in error, and needed to requote the project. Even after a week of back and forth, they could only apologize and stick to the new numbers.

It was a blow, and I kept getting the same response: Shipping rates are constantly in flux and that these numbers represent the most up-to-date rates available to your fulfillment center.

So, I can promise that I’m not getting anything out of the shipping. All of these numbers represent the latest numbers with the addition of Backerkit Fee and Taxes.

These will sit for a minimum of 48 Hours for you to review before charging out most likely on Monday. Once charged, I pay directly to the Fulfillment center, and they start sending things out. 

UK/EU & AUS:

These are also in process now and should be posted next week with the same method.

Add-On Tiers: 

If you are an Add-On or Pre-Order backer, you will see your Shipping Fees as an Add-On rather than under the shipping charges. These are computed by your largest item and hand entered by yours truly. 

Changing Address:

If you need to alter an Address for any reason, this is your very last chance. They are locked on Backerkit so please message me directly on Kickstarter your name and updated address. I will be able to alter them up until Monday, Last Call!

Thank you for your patience. It was a slog trying to figure out and re-inputting everything with the updated quotes. The good news is we are almost done, just wish it wasn’t a fight to the finish.

Last Call: Shipping & Addresses.

As with the last update, further clarifying that the addresses are locking for shipments Today. In the next few hours if all goes well.

I’ve had quite a few messages this weekend for double checks, so I want to make sure no one gets left behind.

Once these last stragglers are resolved, the shipping charges will begin processing. So you will see the price of shipments for your region/selection charged along with the others.

This means updated Addresses and Cards are paramount.

This is a general reminder, because enough backers have reached out for me to do an update. THIS IS VITAL! Your shipment is going to the address entered into Backerkit. You have until Tuesday 12pm CST to double check this, roughly 3.5 Days. This is a last chance confirmation, we've all had years to swap or alter them.

It’s been a while, so it's understandable a lot of us have moved (possibly twice).

This means charging is pushed back one day. It was that or risk people missing out on their decks.

HOW DO I CHECK MY ADDRESS?

From Backerkits Instructions: To update your shipping information, click on your BackerKit survey confirmation link that was sent to your email. If you need this link to resent, please go to our survey recovery page here. If your address is open, you will be able to see and click 'Edit Shipping Info' to update your shipping details.

Fulfillment Center Arrival!

Greetings All!

A long awaited update now that I have information to share- Shipments have arrived at the fulfillment centers!

As a toss up between the US Customs delay, and small issues with the UK/EU imports, all regions arrived at the facilities by Friday of last week! We are officially off the boats and in the capable hands of our centers. Since then my days have been filled with meetings for the next steps.

So where does this leave us? A New Breakdown by region is below!

Last of the Outliers:

I sent a message from my personal email to the last of the outliers pleading with them to update info. We managed to get some of the last holdouts on board, and the others have been canceled.

(If you are one of these few folks, contact me directly and we can see about working something out post fulfillment, this simply has to go forward now).

US:

All pallets of product have safely arrived at the warehouse!

After clearing Customs and shipping across the country, it was just my normal bought of luck with this product to arrive during a complete warehouse inventory. That means that the warehouse is shut down until Friday of this week while they perform a full count of all items on hand.

This does not mean that the rest of the facility is shut down, they are reviewing the product for the final in person assessment. Once they conclude this process, we will be charging and shipping in this coming week, as early as Monday.

That means, as a loose quote, that all of these orders should be mailed out completely within the next 1.5 to 2 Weeks of this coming monday. They ship in batches, so your orders should be going out within that time frame directly to the addresses listed on Backerkit.

UK, EU, & AU:

With the focus falling into finalizing the last steps of the US (the largest region), the process of charging will take place by the end of week.

You all will have an update (likely) next week after processing with those location teams and they are able to review the received product. Excited to fully knock this out and get it wrapped up.

I’m so happy everything is finally safely there, now to just get it into your hands. We are right there and I cannot wait to see what you think!

Fulfillment Center Dates, Custom Holds, Estimated Cost, and New Kickstarters!

Greetings All!

Back with a few metric tons of updates, so here we go!

Diving right into the big numbers, expected fulfillment center receiving, and new Kickstarters. There are a number of Sidenotes listed, as this was prepped for last Monday and then I received a mountain of news before hitting send.

These notes were added as I was able to sort through to keep you up to date, without delaying this update any further.

Shipping Timelines and expected Arrival Dates

Below are the quotes for predicted arrival dates at our fulfillment centers. From there, they will be shipping directly to you!

• US: August 05 31 18, 2023
• UK/EU: September 5, 2023
• AUS: August 31, 2023

SPECIAL NOTE: US Shipping- While initially typing this update, I received a message that this order was going to be held for a US Customs Inspection. This new date reflects those additional 7-14 days for the Inspection. I have been scrambling to double check everything due to this.

Double Special Note: US Shipping- It has officially made Port (Today!), and I have been given a new updated date if everything clears Customs.

Shipping Cost - by Region/Tier

This spreadsheet should be able to show your predicted cost for tiers. This is broken down by Regional Tabs and Tiers. For individual items, each location has its own practices. Please refer to the bottom of the sheets.

This is an estimate by the fulfillment centers before processing individual items, but it should be the most accurate measure we have so far.

Updating: Fulfillment Sheet

These amounts will be posted to Backerkit in the coming days once finalized with the Regional Fulfillment Centers. You will then be charged with the final in the 2 weeks after they are posted to your account. I’m waiting for the Fulfillment centers to receive and then check the physical objects versus their predictions. This should avoid any more hiccups.

SIDENOTE: UK/EU Fulfillment - We just had a policy update, and I am unable to access the current projections as of this Update. I have scheduled a call to resolve this. Please check back to the sheet. I’ll have these in as soon as they are provided, unlike these updates I can continually update this Google Sheet.

SIDENOTE: AUS Fulfillment - Is currently checking if rolling the sticker sheet will allow for smaller packaging, which might lower the cost for Decks - Assets Tiers. Worst case scenario, these will be folded to greatly reduce cost.

Below is information about the Newest Kickstarter, you do not need to continue reading unless interested.

New Kickstarter - Sage Edition Tiers

This was written in tandem with an update of the new Magical Oddities Tome Kickstarter but was delayed with the shipment revelations. I apologize for not being able to share this on the same date. The delay was unexpected, but I wasn’t going to push new tiers until you received these updates on the previous fulfillment.

Due to request, I’ve added Tiers specifically aimed at Returning Backers for a larger discount on top of the Sage Add-ons.

Sage Adventurer: This is comparable to the Adventurer Bundle and establishes the best wave for returning backers to receive the Hardcover Tome, Decks 6-10, and the Storage Chest. This is at a reduced cost to allow for a jumping off point to select additional Sage Add-ons.

Sage Artifact: This is comparable to the Deluxe Artifact Bundle and is geared towards providing all the Sage Add-Ons in one place. This is the one-stop shop for finding everything together. In addition, this includes the Sage VTT, something lacking on the Artifact Tier in place of the Storage Chest.
